  • Sounds like you're frying eggs in the foreground.

  • Heh. Well, I've no clue what that krackle was in the background. My equipment acting up? A button I pushed wrong on iMovie? I dunno.

  • Captain JLS;

    Something you mentioned in your show caught my attention and I though you should be made aware. I had an opportunity to talk to Toynami about the Maia Sterling Alpha. I posted the email to RT.com, but I will paraphrase here...

    Toynami outsources the production to factories around the world. When Toynami aproached the factory that did the Alpha Fighters, that factory was busy. So, Toynami was forced you use a different factory.

    When the new factory ran test models for Toynami all looked good. When Toynami ran QC checks, the factory made sure all looked good. So, Toynami was surprised about QC complaints from fans. When the complaints reached a certain point, Toynami made an unannounced inspection of the factory and products. The result was the recall and Toynami feeling as lied to as us. The factory deceived Toynami about their ability to produce the Maia Sterling Alpha, leaving Toynami with egg on their face.

    Since that time, Toyami has fired that factory and is now tooling up the factory that did the Beta.

    While I wish Toynami could have done a better job with this, I will say that I am at least impressed they are doing the recall and attempting to fix the mistake. They have also been open about the deception and admitting that they should have taken better steps to prevent the lie.

    If you want more, you can read about it in the Maia Sterling Recall Thread on RT.com

  • Love your honesty.

  • I would LOVE to see a live action show, or even a remake of the first original show, in animation. I am not sure which would cost more. But I think a remake of the show on something that already wrote out (and just need some story fixes)

    But also I think they need more, lots more stuff to keep up excited as fans about the ROBOTECH name, so there should be more comics, games, toys, and stuff coming out, and talked about. at all prices levels.

    Thanks again for the great job on the Roboblog Chronicle, I really enjoy them.
