Dear, dear pal James "Tolarin" Pickens shot me a news item from AnimeNewsNetwork.com; apparently in February there will be a "Super Dimension Launch Ceremony," commemorating the fictional launch date of the SDF-1 Macross, in Tokyo's Akihabara shopping district.
